*Is Brown Bread Best *


To break the myth of what sounds healthy and what actually is healthy , we need to deconstruct what whole-wheat bread is.
Whole-wheat bread has no added beneficial ingredient that can enhance its nutritional composition. In fact, whole-wheat bread has extra gluten In it to get the sponginess. Due to the presence of fibre in wheat bread , gluten needs to be stepped up to 14 percent , whereas white bread has natural gluten content of up to 12 percent. But extra yeast and sugar is added to the wheat bread to enhance its taste, which in turn increases its calorific
Gluten is definitely present in white bread , but in brown wheat bread ,extra gluten powder , yeast and sugar are added which increases its calorific value. So it is in no way a healthier option.
